Asian Art Museum of San Francisco
The Asian Art Museum of San Francisco is one of the largest museums in the Western world devoted exclusively to Asian art. Its holdings include over 15,000 treasures spanning 6,000 years
of history. The Japanese collection is large and varied with the netsuke collection numbering more than 1,000. A selection of netsuke and inro are on exhibit.

Stanford University Museum Cantor Center for Visual Arts
The Cantor Center for Visual Arts at Stanford University, Palo Alto, is located approximately 35 miles south of San Francisco. In the past several years it has been the recipient of two
large collections of netsuke which are on display in the museum.
